Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies started her career as an actor aged 12 as she first began participating in public castings within the community. Her professional career as an actor began early when she began going to public casting events in the area. Gillies made her debut on television in a part as a regular actor for three episodes of The Black Donnellys. She said that her parents felt it was not appropriate for her to watch the show's entirety. The year 2008 was a busy one for her, she played small roles in the musical The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. She was cast during that summer as Lucy as well as Ariana Grande, who was her co-star in Victorious and Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. In the following year, 13 relocated to Broadway and became one of the very first Broadway production with a cast and band entirely consisting of teenagers. Gillies' two greatest numbers, "Opportunity", and "It can't be true" and "It can't be true" were then followed by smaller roles in songs such as "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready" and "The title track. Gillies worked with the series until it ended on January 4, 2009.
